May 27 thru June 1, 1994.

My brother Fred has been in the Navy since about 1984. I got invited to his Officer Commissioning ceremony and wasn't about to pass that up. Round trip tickets back then were $845. We stayed in his house in Waikele in rural Honolulu on Oahu. It is the most beautiful place. The weather was great. After we scuba dove at Three Tables, a storm did come in but didn't last long. That's how I got the full rainbow picture by a Dole Pineapple field. People were pulled all over on the side of the road taking pictures and filming. It was actually a full, double arc rainbow. Talk about feeling the power. I actually took 9 rolls of film while there. It was the best vacation I've ever taken. I thank my brother Fred for affording me the opportunity to attend. God bless him for watching over our great country USA. Thank you. Thank you to all service men and women past and present for protecting our freedoms.
