Niki's Personal Info
Hi ! My name is Niki and welcome to my site. This has been a great learning experience for me. I've been having way too much fun trying to anyway. So before I start rambling, here's a little about me.
I am an operator. I have been at this job for 13 years, come September 2004. I do a lot of web stuff in my free time. Sites, graphics, photography and recipes occupy a lot of my time. I've always put in long hours but during my off time I like to relax and work on my web site. I don't get as much time off as I'd like but when I do, I love going to the river and building a huge campfire, going canoeing, hiking thru the woods and chilling out with Mother Nature. It's a great way to unwind.
UPDATE!
As of October 2004, I quit my longtime job! I was all set to move to Akron to embark on a new "career". Looking back on it now, it turns out to be a good thing that didn't work out. So, I got a job working for a temp place in a warehouse. That lasted for 4 months. The place lost their contract and shut the doors. Got home on my last day there and had a call from a headhunter. Been at my new job since March 2004. I love it! I am now a data editor. It fits me better as it's computer. I hope to retire from there.
Vacations always incur some kind of traveling and lots of photography. I often go to Florida to see my cuz. We hit the beaches and really enjoy it. We always go to a few "hole in the wall" restaurants and enjoy the best seafood. There is nothing like fresh seafood. I love it.
Pretty much any other time, I can be found working on my computers doing something. I'm always up to something or learning something new. It's a passion that fits in well with photography. That is an ever ending learning process for sure. I thoroughly enjoy it. Got it from my dad. He was a professional photographer.
