1 pound beef stew meat, cook, drain fat
1 medium onion, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
5 carrots, diced
1 quart V8 juice
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cups barley
Use broth from cooking meat. Add all ingredients. Put in crockpot. Simmer all day.
