1 cup canned or jarred pitted cherries, no syrup
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
6 ounce box cherry Jello mix
1 cup nuts, optional
1 12 ounce can of Coke
Combine cherries, sugar, water: bring to a boil and boil for one minute. Add Jello powder and nuts. Mix well then add the coke. Chill until set and serve.
